Theatre in Englsih

 

Courses for both adults and children from September 2016.

All of the classes on this course will be given only in English and are

appropriate for English speakers of whatever nationality.

This course is a unique opportunity to enter the world of dramatic art. 

We will study the various methodologies of acting and the technical

requirements of an actor such as text interpretation, physical, mental,

emotional and vocal control, timing and how to move an audience

to tears or to laughter.

We will study texts, plays, poems and music.  We will learn how to

build a character from scratch and how to interpret the human condition. 

We will make full use of video and sound technology and, of course,

at the end of the course, the students will have the opportunity

to present to their friends and family the fruits of their labour with

an end of term performance.

 

This course will be directed by British actor and teacher Kevin O’Shea,

with 30 years experience as a teacher and actor in cinema,

television and theatre. 

Maximum 6 students. 

Courses for both children and adults:

Children:  Saturday 10.00-12.00

Adults:     Times on application. 2 hours per week.

 

Price:    150 € per term.  (50 € per month).
